Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with US Air Force requirements. You will work with Applications Engineering to demonstrate field-ready StreamCaster radios across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments, with travel up to 50% and a remote-work option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field.
• 2–5 years in systems engineering, technical business development, or defense technology roles; or 5+ years with a HS diploma.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems; security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Analyze US Air Force priorities and map requirements to tactical radio solutions.
• Support planning, configuration, and field trials of radio systems and demonstrations.
• Collaborate to verify architectures are technically sound and aligned with strategic priorities.
• Build and present technical demos for airborne, edge, and base networking needs.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network test developments.
