Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Consumer Business LLC is seeking a Regional Account Manager for legacy Ahold banners in the New England area. You will lead annual business planning, manage trade funds, and drive category growth with key retailers such as Stop & Shop, The Giant Co, and Giant Food.

You will collaborate with Merchants and HQ to craft Joint Business Plans, deploy Sales Effectiveness capabilities, and ensure compliance across deductions and promotions. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of Stop & Shop selling experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word)
• Willingness to travel overnight 10%

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and detailed preparation during annual business planning for assigned customers with responsibility for trade funds deployment, evaluation of merchandising promotions and volume forecasting accuracy
• Participation in key account business reviews, category line reviews and new item presentations.
• Drive business results through collaborative strategic account planning as well as deployment of Sales Effectiveness capabilities i.e.: Customer Innovation Meetings, Omni-channel Platforms, Category Management, and Product Portfolio management.
• Develop and profitably participate in customer Joint Business Plans, Digital Marketing communication and campaigns, Shopper loyalty and rewards programs.
• Ensure Sales compliance with all customer trade management, deduction management and record retention policies.
• Working with customer to improve retail distribution conditions, POG improvements, and compliance.
• Create long-term value by establishing a strong presence for GP's consumer business with the retailer through growing active business relationships and effective customer wiring.
