Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Ohio is seeking a Rare Disease Business Manager to support the Cincinnati territory within the Alpha-1 program.

You will drive new patient starts, engage healthcare professionals across pulmonology and related specialties, and promote Takeda therapies in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals. This role requires a clinical sales background, a Bachelor's degree, territory management skills, and the ability to work with payors and reimbursement challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) with 3+ years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech sales, or 2+ years at Takeda.
• Must live within the territory and manage it effectively.
• Experience with payor and reimbursement challenges.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales quotas through new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
• Engage healthcare professionals (Pulmonology, Allergy/Immunology, Respiratory Therapists, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care).
• Educate and inform HCPs on Takeda Alpha-1 therapies.
• Build and execute territory business plan and national sales strategy in a compliant manner.
• Conduct product demonstrations, provide information, and ensure compliance with policies.
