Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. is seeking a Rare Disease Business Manager – Alpha-1 to support Birmingham, AL and surrounding areas, including parts of TN.

You will drive patient starts and retention in infusion centers and hospitals, educate HCPs on Alpha-1 brands, and develop compliant territory plans in collaboration with marketing and national accounts. You will operate within a national sales framework, use Takeda CRM, and may travel up to ~50% with some weekend work as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required; clinical sales background preferred.
• 3+ years selling experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device and/or relevant clinical or industry experience; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda.
• RDBM will live within territory and manage territory from Border-to-Border.
• Collaborate with patient services, customer service, marketing, market access, contracts, national accounts, hospital team, and operations.
• Understanding of customers' motivations and needs.
• Organizational and territory planning skills.
• Experience with payor and reimbursement challenges.
• Proven ability to influence HCPs to prescribe.
• Experience with specialty biologics (injections/infusions) and working with specialty pharmacies preferred.
• Knowledge of plasma-derived therapies, rare diseases, or biotech desirable.
• Overnight travel ~50%; local travel and occasional weekends may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Drive new patient starts, outpatient infusion centers and hospital sales; retain patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
• Educate and inform HCPs on Alpha-1 brands; build national sales/marketing strategy and compliant territory plan.
• Call on prospective customers; deliver masters sales presentations and product information with compliance to policies.
• Partner with home office, Marketing/Brand and National accounts for pull-through of product sales.
• Use Microsoft tools and Takeda CRM for customer management.
• Conduct community education events for HCPs and patients; occasional nights/weekends.
• Promote Takeda culture through ongoing relationships and activities.
