Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Rare Disease Business Manager to cover Alpha-1 territory across Alabama and adjacent regions. Drive patient starts, expand outpatient infusion center and hospital sales, and retain patients on Takeda Alpha-1 therapy.

You will educate healthcare professionals on Takeda brands, build compliant sales strategies, and collaborate with field and home-office teams to maximize opportunities in a dynamic, multi-state market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales.
• Ability to manage a multi-state territory from border-to-border.
• Strong organizational and territory planning skills.
• Experience with payor and reimbursement challenges.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales quotas by expanding patient starts and outpatient/hospital sales.
• Educate HCPs on Takeda Alpha-1 products in a compliant manner.
• Develop territory business plans and support national sales strategies.
• Collaborate with field teams and home office to drive pull-through of product sales.
