Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Rare Disease Business Manager to cover the Cincinnati territory. You will drive sales in infusion centers and hospitals, educate HCPs on Alpha-1 therapies, and build a compliant territory plan to maximize opportunities.

You will collaborate with marketing, contracts, national accounts, and home-office teams, with occasional travel and weekend events. A Bachelor's degree and pharma sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years sales in pharma/biotech or 2+ years at Takeda.
• Territory-based role; travel up to 50% overnight.
• Experience with payor and reimbursement challenges.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams including marketing, contracts and hospital teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive new patient starts and sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals.
• Educate healthcare professionals on Takeda Alpha-1 products.
• Develop territory business plan and compliant national strategy.
• Present product information and demonstrations; ensure promotional compliance.
• Partner with home office, marketing, and accounts teams for pull-through.
• Conduct community education events; occasional nights/weekends.
