Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead in the United States, focusing on driving best-in-class project delivery and building PM capability across the team. The role reports to Senior PMCL, coaching PMs, monitoring performance, and guiding PKF/IPS implementations.

You will support proposals, reviews, and risk management, ensuring alignment with Stantec’s PM Framework and corporate governance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or comparable degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong project management skills across pursuit through closeout.
• Knowledge of contracts, commercial agreements, and PM Framework.
• Ability to lead and coach PMs and project controls staff.
• Experience with risk management, budgeting, and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery and PM practices across the PM cadre.
• Conduct PIRs and regular project performance reviews.
• Oversee PM staff to ensure timely, effective performance.
• Provide training on Oracle dashboards and IPS tools.
• Support risk reviews, commercial evaluations, and EAC/ETC processes.
• Interface with clients and manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
