Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) to drive best-in-class project delivery and strengthen the PM community. You will coach PMs, monitor performance, and ensure consistent application of PM practices across the team.

Reporting to the Senior PMCL, you will influence commercial and project management capabilities, manage risk and quality metrics, and provide guidance on project delivery and governance across the business center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or comparable; 8+ years PM exp.
• Strong PM skills; able to organize, plan, and execute from pursuit to closeout.
• Identify distressed projects and guide mitigation or corrective action.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of Stantec financial methodologies, procedures, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive PM best practices across the PM Team; coach PMs.
• Lead project reviews, monitor budget, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Coordinate with leaders to assign projects and PIR responsibilities.
• Provide training on Oracle dashboards, IPS, and other PM activities.
• Support risk reviews, EAC/EST-to-complete, and revenue recognition.
