Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) in the United States to oversee project delivery, coaching, and governance across the PM cadre. Reporting to the Senior PMCL, this role emphasizes HSSE compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement in project controls and profitability.

Responsibilities include leading PIR reviews, training PM staff, and guiding project setup, with pay ranges disclosed for multiple US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong project management skills with end-to-end project delivery experience.
• Ability to identify distress in projects and provide mitigation guidance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of contracts, commercial agreements, and financial methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent project management practices across PM cadre.
• Coach PMs and project controls staff; conduct training on Oracle dashboard and IPS.
• Lead PIR processes; monitor budget, schedule, risk, and quality management.
• Review and approve project documentation; support risk and commercial evaluation.
• Support go/no-go decisions, pricing strategies, and budgeting activities.
