Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Management & Commercial Lead (PMCL) in the United States to enhance the project delivery framework across the PM Team. The PMCL will coach, monitor performance, and drive consistency in PM practices, governance, and risk management across projects.

Reporting to the Senior PMCL, the role emphasizes leadership of PM staff, guidance on commercial evaluation, and alignment with Stantec’s PM Framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable technical, business, or professional degree.
• Strong project management skills and ability to plan and execute projects from pursuit through closeout.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of contracts, commercial agreements, and PM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent project management practices and procedures aligned with Stantec PM requirements.
• Lead and support project controls, risk management, schedule and budget monitoring.
• Coordinate with PMs to implement corrective actions for distressed projects.
• Assist in pricing, proposals, and bid strategies to meet business objectives.
• Mentor and train project managers and staff on PM processes and tools.
