Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. seeks a seasoned Program Director to oversee client relationships, governance, and KPI development for multiple programs, ensuring seamless service delivery across the organization.

The role requires a strong background in clinical research, 10+ years of program management, and proficiency in budgets, risk management, and cross-functional leadership. Travel 10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of program management experience with proven customer impact in leading and managing teams.
• 5+ years of experience on pharmaceutical industry projects requiring CFR Part 11 compliance.
• 3+ years of experience in Account Management/Client Relationship Management.
• Background in Clinical Research and technology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; able to communicate with cross-functional teams at all levels.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and lead diverse activities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving, decision-making, and budgeting capabilities.
• Proficient with planning, budgeting, reporting, and producing detailed presentations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual operational plans, reports, and executive briefs for client programs.
• Plan and manage governance meetings per client.
• Manage SLAs, governance agreements, and required reporting for clients.
• Set objectives for the program and track progress and performance.
• Communicate program status to clients and WCG executives.
• Coordinate cross-functional program delivery and ensure timely outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date program documentation and plans.
• Provide strategic leadership for client programs and ROI.
• Assess risks and implement action plans with operations.
• Analyze program results and performance data.
• Support sales and onboarding with client responses and materials.
• Serve as SME to sales and other teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
