Job summary

RTX, the leading aerospace and defense company, invites you to join the Naval Standard Missile Systems portfolio in the OSC Finance Organization. As a Program Cost Controls Specialist (P2), you will collaborate with CAMs, Program Managers, and OSC leadership to manage cost, schedule, and funding planning across multiple contracts.

You will develop EACs, monitor variances to plans, and drive internal efficiencies while supporting cost reduction initiatives and estimates for new business

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; minimum 2+ years preferred.
• Experience developing, updating, and statusing financial and performance metrics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 Office tools.
• Experience in production or schedule-driven environments and understanding P&L relationships.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC) with costs, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide cost, schedule, and funding planning, reporting, and analysis to OSC leaders.
• Prepare program financial forecasts and explain variances.
• Manage weekly, monthly cost accumulation processes.
• Assist in cost-reduction projects using manufacturing/functional expertise.
• Contribute to cost estimates for proposals and basis of estimates.
• Support factory and program activities within the business management role.
• Develop and streamline reports, EAC management, and internal efficiency projects.
• Create and maintain the control account structure in a manufacturing finance environment.
