Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Financial Analyst, Program Cost Controls, to join the OSQ Finance organization in a hybrid role in the US. You will support the LADS portfolio, coordinating with Program Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate cost reporting and EVM compliance.

Responsibilities include SAP APEX data maintenance, cost forecasting, and leading financial discussions with cross-functional teams to meet program commitments.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of relevant work.
• Experience meeting critical deadlines.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
• Experience using Microsoft OS and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial performance and execution of programs by implementing, reporting, and maintaining financial data within SAP APEX and other company tools.
• Analyze data to identify potential issues and develop problem-solving methods.
• Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM) to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
• Establish and maintain finance program logs, including MR, UB, and BCRs.
• Develop and support quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE).
• Prepare and lead program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
• Act as the financial point of contact for and provide financial guidance to multiple non-finance functional teams including Program Operations Managers, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
