Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Cost Controls Professional for the Naval Shipboard Missiles Sub-Strategic Business Unit. The role emphasizes strategic financial leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and rigorous cost control across multi-year production efforts.

You will drive EAC/LRE development, provide financial guidance to program teams, and build analytical insights to support leadership decisions within a growing production environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years, or an advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Experience in a matrix organization spanning contracts, engineering, operations, program management, supply chain, and quality.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP ERP systems (APEX/PRISM/BW).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand key business and financial drivers within assigned contracts; identify trends, risks and opportunities; translate to actionable leadership recommendations.
• Forecast, identify risks, and plan financially with independence and sound judgment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet contract, program, company, and customer goals.
• Provide insightful cost, schedule, and financial analysis using company tools and processes.
• Coordinate quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).
• Provide financial guidance to program team and functional leads.
• Create finance charts for monthly reviews and reporting activities.
• Develop and deliver Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Establish and maintain program logs (work authorizations, contract modification logs).
