Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Program Cost Controls Analyst (P3) to support the Naval Standard Missile Systems portfolio within the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit. This hybrid role offers direct access to production operations and cross-functional teams, shaping financial depth and leadership presence.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in production finance, strong EAC experience, and proficiency with APEX, PRISM, and Excel. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years experience.
• Experience with analysis tools such as APEX and PRISM.
• Experience in business management or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and analysis of quarterly EACs including cost, risk, and opportunity assessments.
• Deliver cost, schedule, and funding insights to OSC leaders using standard tools.
• Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actuals, and explain variances.
• Oversee cost accumulation and reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives using manufacturing and functional knowledge.
• Assist in developing cost estimates for new business proposals.
• Contribute to factory and program business management activities.
• Enhance reporting tools and special projects to boost efficiency.
• Maintain control account structures within a manufacturing-based finance environment.
