Job summary

Builders FirstSource seeks a Product Manager to lead a product line and drive revenues through strategic planning and competitive analysis. You will plan sales efforts, manage inventory and coordinate with logistics, marketing and purchasing to optimize success on assigned products.

You will visit job sites to support customers, develop presentations, and train the sales force while building long-range product strategies and profitability goals in a fast-paced construction materials environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field and five years product sales experience.
• Experience planning and managing sales efforts; oversees or initiates optimum purchasing schedule.
• Visits customers on job sites to initiate sales and provide technical and customer support.
• Develops short and long-range product line strategy plans including sales and profitability objectives.
• Strong knowledge of construction industry.
