Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a Product Sales Specialist to manage sales, supply chain and support activities for an assigned product line.

You will conduct competitive analysis, plan product direction and deliver strategic planning to maximize revenues and profitability. The role involves visiting job sites, coordinating purchasing schedules, and collaborating with logistics and marketing teams to optimize sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field.
• Five (5) years product sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned product line to achieve financial goals and analyze performance against competitors.
• Plans and manages sales efforts; oversees purchasing schedules.
• Visits customers on job sites to initiate sales and provide technical support.
• Develops long-range product line strategy, sales and profitability objectives.
• Monitors inventory, coordinates purchases, and arranges service and delivery.
• Delivers product presentations and training to sales teams and customers.
• Collaborates with Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing and other groups to optimize sales.
• Analyzes consumer trends and channel dynamics to gain competitive edge.
• Drives value-added sales, handles complex proposals, and ensures customer satisfaction.
