Job summary

The New York City Department of Transportation is seeking a Procurement Analyst 2 to support the Bureau of Finance and Performance Management. You will assist with procurement, budgets, grants, and operations across multiple projects, using FMS and PASSPort to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities include verifying budgets, processing change requests, and preparing procurement documents from requisition to registration.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent.
• An associate degree plus 12 months of full-time procurement/contract experience.
• A four-year high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience.
• A combination of education and experience as described, substitutes credits for experience.

Responsibilities

• Use FMS to check balances, encumbrances and budget structures.
• Assist with New Need Forms for the DOT Budget Office.
• Verify grant codes match liquidations and identify discrepancies.
• Process FCCR and POCR in PASSPort to prepare contracts for invoicing.
• Research procurement documents in PASSPort and SharePoint.
• Assist in compiling procurement documents from requisition to registration.
• Document project history and status using Word and Excel.
• Distribute railroad invoices and track liquidations outside PASSPort.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
