Job summary

The New York City Department of Transportation is hiring a Procurement Analyst 2 to support the Bureau of Finance and Performance Management. The role involves procurement processing, budget checks, and contract coordination within PASSPort and related systems.

Qualifications include a degree or equivalent, with procurement or contract experience. The position supports a 55-a program and offers a stable 35-hour work week with potential for some work-from-home days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent accredited education; or
• Associate degree with 12 months professional procurement/contract experience; or
• Four-year high school diploma with two years relevant experience; or
• Combination of education and experience substituting for the above.

Responsibilities

• Using the City’s Financial Management System to check balances and budgets.
• Assist in preparing New Need Forms for the DOT Budget Office.
• Verify grant codes and liquidations; identify discrepancies.
• Process FCCR/POCR in PASSPort to ready contracts and POs.
• Research procurement documents via PASSPort and SharePoint.
• Prepare procurement documentation from requisition to registration.
