Job summary

The City of New York’s Department of Transportation seeks a Procurement Analyst 2 to support the Bureau of Finance and Performance Management. You will assist with procurement activities, budget analysis, grants, and contract management across multiple projects to ensure efficient spend and compliance.

Responsibilities include utilizing FMS and PASSPort, preparing documents from requisition to registration, and communicating project history and justifications clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Associate degree or 60 semester credits with 12 months of procurement-related experience.
• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience.
• Combination of education and experience with substitution rules as described.

Responsibilities

• Use the City’s Financial Management System to check balances, encumbrances, budget structures, etc.
• Assist units with New Need Forms for DOT Budget Office.
• Confirm grant budget codes match liquidations and identify discrepancies.
• Perform FCCR and POCR in PASSPort to prepare contracts for invoicing and set up POs for each FY.
