Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations. This role develops pricing strategies, evaluates opportunities, and supports new product introductions to drive profitable growth.

You will lead pricing analyses, build financial models, and present insights to senior leadership, while ensuring governance and data integrity across pricing initiatives. Hybrid work from Plymouth, MN, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent.
• 4–6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, or similar.
• Strong pricing methodologies and value-based pricing knowledge.
• Experience with market dynamics and financial analyses to support decisions.
• Proficiency in pricing governance and deal structures.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities through market and financial analysis, and develop and execute pricing strategies.
• Lead pricing analyses for price adjustments and new product launches with Finance/ISC for cost impacts.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics to inform actions.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Present pricing performance and recommendations to senior leadership in reviews.
• Provide pricing guidance for major opportunities, national accounts, and PARs.
• Review and approve PARs ensuring alignment with policies and profitability.
• Drive pricing process improvements, governance, analytics, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance customer value and market competitiveness.
