Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to lead pricing initiatives across the organization, partnering with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to drive profitable growth.

You will develop pricing strategies, analyze market trends, and present insights to senior leadership, while ensuring governance and data integrity. Hybrid role based in Plymouth, MN with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and market-based pricing.
• Experience with price governance, quotes, and contract terms.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis for pricing decisions.
• Ability to influence across functions in a matrix organization.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities through market and financial analysis and develop pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
• Lead pricing analyses and recommendations related to price adjustments and new product launches with Finance and ISC for cost impacts and profitability.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics to drive actions.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses for strategic initiatives.
• Present pricing performance, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership in reviews.
• Provide pricing guidance for national accounts, deal negotiations, and PARs.
• Review and approve PARs ensuring alignment with policies and profitability.
• Drive pricing process improvements, governance, analytics, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance value, competitiveness, and business goals.
