Job summary

Daikin Applied in Plymouth, MN, offers a Hybrid role for a Strategic Pricing Manager to drive pricing strategy and execution. You will work with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to improve profitability and price realization while maintaining market competitiveness.

You will analyze pricing opportunities, develop models, and present insights to senior leaders. 4–6+ years in pricing, strong Excel and BI skills, and ability to travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or equivalent.
• 4–6+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and profitability.
• Experience with market dynamics and value-based pricing.
• Proficiency in pricing governance, quotes, and deal economics.
• Ability to influence decisions and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify pricing opportunities with stakeholders using market and financial analysis.
• Lead pricing analyses for price adjustments and new launches with Finance and ISC.
• Analyze price performance, discounts, profitability, and customer economics.
• Develop pricing models, business cases, and financial analyses.
• Present pricing performance and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Provide pricing guidance for major opportunities, PARs, and national deals.
• Review PARs for alignment with governance and profitability objectives.
• Improve pricing processes, data integrity, and commercial effectiveness.
• Balance customer value, market competitiveness, and business objectives with cross-functional teams.
