Job summary

ABB is seeking a Pricing Manager to lead bid, estimate, and quotation activities within the Electrification division in the United States. You will work to achieve market competitiveness while maintaining margin guidelines, collaborating with ABB units and customers to ensure a positive experience.

You will formulate competitive bids, manage the bid lifecycle, and ensure timely, well-documented tenders with accurate costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in utility electrical industry is preferred.
• Ability to understand extensive product portfolio and relate it to market pricing.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Formulates competitive bids, estimates and quotations considering product mix and pricing.
• Ensures tender documentation is timely and detailed with full costs.
• Manages planning of technical, financial and project management aspects of bids and quotations.
• Ensures inputs for bid preparation are provided per quality procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation of orders/quotations and decisions made.
