Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Pricing Manager in a hybrid role within the Electrification division in the United States. You will create bids, estimates, and quotations aligned with customer specs to maintain market competitiveness and margin targets.

You will coordinate across ABB units, manage bid planning, costs, and trading conditions, and ensure timely, well-documented tender submissions while supporting a strong customer experience. Travel up to 5-10% for training and activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 5+ years' experience strongly preferred or 10+ years' experience supporting Utility Electrical Industry in a technical, product marketing, or an industry supporting role.
• Ability to understand extensive product portfolio and how it applies/relates to the market, providing value-added pricing.
• Sound knowledge of and extensive experience in Utility and Electrical Industry; specific ELIP Utility products and ABB preferred.
• Strong analysis, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills primarily in English.

Responsibilities

• Formulates competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.
• Ensures tenders are well-documented in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
• Manages the planning and preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.
• Ensures that inputs for editing activities related to bid, estimate, and quotation preparation are provided in a timely manner and in accordance with the established quality procedures.
• Manages the collection and archival of documentation regarding the order/quoting and recording of assumptions and decisions made during development.
