Job summary

ABB is seeking a Tender Quotation Specialist to support Electrification Services in North America. You will lead bid, estimate and quotation activities, collaborate with sales and technical teams, and ensure alignment with ABB standards and government contracting requirements.

This remote role contributes to a high-performance sales support function within ABB. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service, with

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering or Field Service.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development Sales Managers and the technical support team to provide cost and price for services and equipment for work scopes and timely customer-ready proposals.
• Collaborate with Region sales team to understand customer requirements, develop deal strategies and analyze the competitive landscape and market pricing.
• Manage the entire opportunity and proposal screening, development, approvals and pricing processes in Salesforce.com for active opportunities.
• Balance multiple priorities and opportunities effectively.
• Manage deadlines and set correct expectations on cycle times and milestones with end customers, sales reps and distributors.
• Understand terms and conditions and how they impact risk and costs.
• Ensure adherence to government contracting requirements.
