Univar Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager to join our Pharmaceutical Ingredients team. This home-based role in the United States focuses on building long-term, value-based relationships with key accounts in the Texas region, using consultative selling to maximize growth and customer value.

You will prospect for new business, retain customers, provide technical support, manage quotes and pricing, and collaborate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to maintain

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of sales experience in the Pharmaceutical Ingredients industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Chemistry preferred but not required).
• Ability to nurture an extensive network of contacts.
• Strong business savvy, including understanding of manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemicals.
• Well-honed listening skills and a problem-solving approach to uncover needs and motivations to overcome objections to closing a sale.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Aufgaben

• Build long-term, value-based relationships with accounts; improve Univar's position within each account using consultative selling at all levels.
• Prospect for new business by conducting sales calls to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction.
• Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our value to the customer.
• Maintain a clear updated view of your sales pipeline.
• Set pricing and service levels, and maintain customer quotations or provide necessary information for local branches to do so.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, both personal and of colleagues.
