Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in the Pharmaceutical Ingredients industry (APIs and Excipients valued).
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or chemical sales is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Technical Science, Chemistry preferred but not required).
• Ability to nurture an extensive network of contacts.
• Proven competitive drive and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Improve Univar's position within each account using consultative selling at all levels within the account.
• Prospect for new business by conducting sales calls to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction.
• Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase value to the customer.
• Maintain a clear updated view of your sales pipeline.
• Set pricing and service levels, maintain quotations or provide information for local branches.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, both personal and of colleagues.
