Univar Solutions is seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager for our Pharmaceutical Ingredients team. You will build lasting relationships, grow the geographic territory, and drive value through consultative selling from home-based locations across the United States.

You will manage the sales pipeline, coordinate pricing and quotes, and collaborate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure inventory availability while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• 3+ years of sales experience in the Pharmaceutical Ingredients industry or related chemical sectors.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Technical Science, Chemistry preferred but not required).
• Ability to nurture an extensive network of contacts and leverage relationships to grow accounts.
• Strong business savvy with understanding of manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemicals.
• Excellent listening skills and a problem-solving approach to uncover needs and overcome objections.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsabilidades

• Build long-term, value-based relationships with accounts and expand Univar's position through consultative selling.
• Prospect for new business by making sales calls to grow the territory size.
• Focus on customer retention and overall satisfaction.
• Provide customer technical support and consultative services to increase our value to customers.
• Maintain an up-to-date view of your sales pipeline.
• Set pricing and service levels, coordinate quotations, and inform local branches as needed.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure proper inventory levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety for yourself and colleagues.
