SonderMind is hiring an Account Manager, Health Plans to grow key payor relationships and drive member utilization. This strategic role partners with payors, contract teams, and cross-functional teams to expand our footprint beyond initial agreements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in strategic account management, familiarity with value-based programs, and strong storytelling skills to translate outcomes into a compelling value narrative.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in strategic account management, partner growth, or payor-facing relationships.
• Experience in behavioral health or healthcare.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to turn outcomes into value narratives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for payor partners; lead executive reviews.
• Demonstrate ROI using outcomes, access improvements, cost and utilization data.
• Grow accounts beyond contracts; identify geographies, lines of business and new offerings.
• Drive member utilization and partner engagement; co-market initiatives.
• Collaborate with Payor Contracting on renewals; provide insights for negotiations.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Revenue Cycle, credentialing, compliance, legal, finance, and operations.
