Job summary

SonderMind Inc. is hiring an Account Manager, Health Plans to manage payor relationships and expand partnerships. You will serve as the primary contact for a payor portfolio, translating clinical outcomes into a compelling value narrative and driving member utilization.

Reporting to the Head of Payor Strategy and Partnerships, this role requires executive presence, commercial instincts, and collaboration with Payor Contracting and cross-functional teams to renew and expand agreements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in strategic account management or payor-facing relationship management
• Experience in behavioral health or healthcare preferred
• Ability to translate clinical outcomes into a value narrative

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of payor partners and lead executive reviews
• Demonstrate value with ROI using outcomes, access improvements, and cost data
• Grow accounts beyond the initial contract with new geographies, lines of business and offerings
• Drive member utilization through partner engagement, referral pathways, and co-marketing
• Partner with the Contracting team on renewals and new agreements with insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on partner commitments and support events
