Job summary

United Future in Kingsport, TN is seeking a driven Sales Manager to grow our flexible packaging business in the northeast Tennessee region. You will blend technical learning with consultative selling to solve packaging challenges and advance our customers' brands on shelves.

In this role you will identify new enterprise clients, manage accounts end-to-end, prepare proposals, and collaborate with R&D, prepress, and production to deliver exceptional, high-touch service while traveling up to 50% as

Qualifications

8+ years of sales or technical service experience in B2B
Willing to travel up to 50% (including international travel)
Ability to learn technical aspects of printing and packaging
Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
Degree in Business, Packaging Science, Graphic Communications, or related field preferred
Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Identify and win new enterprise clients across food, beverage, confectionery, pet food, and consumer goods
Open doors, build trust, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships
Learn and apply technical knowledge of rotogravure printing, substrates, and ink systems
Help clients select materials for packaging needs
Communicate performance, quality, and cost advantages of rotogravure printing
Forecast and track sales performance
Prepare quotes, proposals, and RFP responses
Collaborate with R&D, prepress, and production to ensure flawless projects
Own the customer experience from first conversation to final delivery
