Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a driven Sales Manager to grow a flexible packaging business in northeast TN.

You will build relationships, solve packaging challenges, and guide clients to smarter solutions in a dynamic, consultative sales environment. You’ll identify new enterprise clients across food, beverage, confectionery, pet food and consumer goods, travel up to 50%, and collaborate with R&D, prepress, and production to deliver high‑quality packaging projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in sales or technical service (B2B preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (incl. international travel).
• Degree in Business, Packaging Science, Graphic Communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience navigating long sales cycles and closing deals.
• Fluent use of CRM systems and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new enterprise clients across food, beverage, confectionery, pet food, and consumer goods.
• Open doors, build trust, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
• Learn and apply technical knowledge of rotogravure printing, substrates, and ink systems.
• Help clients select materials for their packaging needs.
• Communicate performance, quality, and cost advantages of rotogravure printing.
• Collaborate with R&D, prepress, and production to ensure flawless execution.
• Manage accounts end-to-end from first contact to final delivery.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and RFP responses; forecast and track sales performance.
• Deliver high-touch, exceptional customer experience.
• Stay ahead of market trends and bring insights to strengthen competitive edge.
