Job summary

Essenti Talent in Kingsport, TN seeks a driven Sales Manager to grow the flexible packaging business in the northeast TN area. You’ll build relationships, blend technical learning with consultative sales, and solve real packaging challenges.

You’ll manage accounts end-to-end, prepare proposals, forecast sales, and collaborate with R&D and production to deliver high-touch service while traveling up to 50% (including some international trips).

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent; strong sales aptitude and packaging knowledge preferred.
• 8+ years in sales or technical service (B2B) with evidence of relationship building.
• Ability to learn rotogravure printing concepts and packaging materials.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new enterprise clients across food, beverage, confectionery, pet food, and consumer goods industries.
• Open doors, build trust, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
• Communicate the advantages of rotogravure printing and packaging solutions to clients.
• Forecast and track sales performance; prepare quotes, proposals, and RFP responses.
• Collaborate with R&D, prepress, and production to ensure flawless project execution.
