Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, seeks a results-driven salesperson to engage with diverse customers and translate needs into tailored proposals. You will craft contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects, troubleshoot field issues, and deliver compelling product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two years prior sales experience or equivalent.
• Represents company to diverse customers and develops sales proposals.
• Develops sales contracts for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting customer needs and design specifications and liaising between internal staff and client.
• Develops sales contracts from client specifications and communicates requirements to staff and management.
• Troubleshoots field issues and presents company products and services to meet customer needs.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations and demonstrates products and services to clients.
• Identifies and solicits new customers and generates sales opportunities.
• Keeps customers informed about products and services and how they meet requirements.
• Possibly chairs meetings and trains less experienced staff.
