Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, seeks an experienced sales professional for a dynamic role supporting residential, multi-family and commercial projects. You will gather client needs, develop proposals, and coordinate with design staff to meet specifications.

The position emphasizes high-impact presentations, solution selling, and the potential to train junior reps while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy and tact to portray the company positively.
• Proficiency in Office Suite and ability to present complex subject matter to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications.
• Develops sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects by collecting specification information from clients.
• Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve or are complex in nature.
• Delivers effective sales presentations and demonstrates products to meet customer needs.
• Researches, identifies and solicits new customers and opportunities.
