Job summary

Builders FirstSource in Eastern ID is seeking an Outside Sales Representative who will represent the company with a range of residential, multi-family and commercial clients. You will collect customer needs, translate them into product and service solutions, and coordinate with inside design staff to develop sales proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects including residential, multi-family and commercial.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications.
• Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects including residential, multi-family and commercial.
• Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve or are complex in nature.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations for current and prospective customers.
• Researches, identifies and solicits new customers.
• Continuously updates customers on products and services and explains how they meet requirements.
• Leads or participates in training and development of junior staff.
• Prepares recurring and special reports for management.
