Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an experienced Inside/Outside Sales professional who will represent the company with large and complex customers, developing sales proposals and contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects.

The role includes training less experienced staff, planning sales presentations, and identifying new business opportunities while ensuring customer requirements are met through effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two (2) years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrates knowledge of company products, services, and sales processes.
• Proficient in presenting complex subject matter to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting customer needs and designing proposals.
• Develops sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects from client specs.
• Troubleshoots field issues that are complex or difficult to resolve.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
• Researches, identifies, and solicits new customers to generate sales opportunities.
• Provides ongoing updates to customers on products and services and alignment with requirements.
• May chair meetings and train less experienced Outside Sales Reps.
• May provide training to less experienced Outside Sales Reps.
