Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking an experienced sales professional to represent the company with large or complex customers. You will identify needs, develop proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to meet requirements.

The role includes training and developing less experienced Outside Sales Reps, leading sales efforts in the absence of the Sales Manager, and driving new business across residential, multi-family and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related field with 2 years of sales experience.
• Ability to train and develop less experienced outside sales reps.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications, and acting as a liaison with internal staff.
• Develops sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects by gathering specs and conveying needs to staff and management.
• Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
