Job summary

Lob is transforming how businesses use direct mail with a technology-powered logistics and fulfillment engine. The Business Operations Manager will own cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, our Print & Delivery Network, and Go-to-Market, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.

You will drive program execution, diagnose workflows, deliver analysis from Lob's data stack, and communicate progress to leadership, while supporting company-wide operating

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting/corporate strategy or business operations with direct ownership.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with leadership.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making; SQL helpful.
• Background in B2B SaaS, marketplace, logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own Program Execution: Run three to five concurrent cross-functional programs with defined end state, status, and owners.
• Drive Outcomes Across Teams: Push programs to completion across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Partner Ops, Solutions, and Go-to-Market.
• Diagnose & Redesign Workflows: Identify workflows across teams, quantify current state costs, design consolidated or automated replacements.
• Deliver the Analysis: Produce analysis behind program decisions using Lob's data stack and AI tools.
• Hand Off What You Build: Document programs and transition to a permanent owner with a lasting metric.
• Communicate to Leadership: Prepare and deliver program reviews and status updates with recommendations.
• Cover the Gaps: Support FP&A, Deal Desk, and operating cadences like QBRs and leadership offsites.
