Job summary

Lob is seeking a Business Operations Manager to own cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, our Print & Delivery Network, and Go-to-Market. You will transform ambiguous problems into documented, measurable processes with named owners and defined timelines.

You will drive outcomes across teams, analyze workflows, quantify costs of the current state, and design automated replacements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 4-7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or related roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM.
• Strong executive communication skills and a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
• Ability to scope ambiguity, set owners, and drive programs to completion.
• Preferred: background in B2B SaaS, marketplace, logistics, or similarly operationally intensive businesses.

Responsibilities

• Own program execution for 3-5 concurrent cross-functional initiatives with defined end states, owners, and timelines.
• Drive outcomes across teams by pushing programs to completion across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Partner Operations, Solutions, and GTM.
• Diagnose and redesign workflows, quantify costs of current state, and implement automated replacements.
• Deliver analysis supporting program decisions using Lob's data, reporting stack, and AI tools.
• Document programs and transition to permanent owners with measurable handoff metrics.
• Prepare and present program reviews and leadership updates with recommendations and reasoning.
• Provide backup for FP&A, Deal Desk, and analytics, supporting company-wide cadences like QBRs and leadership offsites.
