Job summary

Lob is seeking a Business Operations Manager to own and drive cross-functional programs across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Print & Delivery, and Go-to-Market. You will transform ambiguous problems into documented processes with named owners and measurable outcomes.

You will coordinate with teams that don’t report to you, delivering analyses and leadership updates, while ensuring handoffs to permanent owners with lasting metrics.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting/corporate strategy or business operations.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs spanning multiple teams.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities, including data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own three to five concurrent cross-functional programs with end state, status, owners and dates.
• Drive programs across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and GTM to completion.
• Diagnose and redesign workflows; quantify current state cost and design replacements.
• Deliver analysis using Lob's data and AI tooling; document and hand off programs.
• Prepare program reviews and leadership updates with rationale and recommendations.
• Provide backup for FP&A, Deal Desk, and analytics; support quarterly business rhythms.
