Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Service Center operations and support the sales team. You will drive efficiency, resource alignment, and customer satisfaction across branches in the Texas region.

The role supervises Customer Service Representatives, Counter Sales, and Administrative staff, delivering optimal service levels while controlling costs. Candidates with Lean/5S expertise and SAP/BI fluency are favored.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in inside sales or operations.
• Experience leading in a matrix-managed organization.
• Ability to make strategic decisions based on solid analysis and KPIs.
• Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Proficient in SAP and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Service Center Operations.
• Align resources to support sales growth and initiatives.
• Coach and develop associates to achieve performance.
• Set team and individual metrics aligned with business objectives.
