Summit Electric Supply is seeking an Onsite Support Specialist - People Manager to lead the customer-site operations, supervise onsite staff, and ensure peak service delivery. You will act as the primary Summit representative, oversee staffing, training, and performance, and drive safety and efficiency on site.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to SAP processes, and a focus on customer satisfaction, inventory control, and Lean/5S practices within a dynamic distributor

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse/operations or onsite services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people, including scheduling and coaching.
• Strong SAP proficiency.
• Ability to manage operations independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to influence and hold others accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite staff and manage daily operations at the customer site.
• Ensure service levels, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Plan, assign, and prioritize work to meet demand and standards.
• Act as primary Summit representative at the customer location.
• Collaborate with HR and operations to address issues and performance.
• Maintain site safety, 5S/Lean practices, and SAP compliance.
