Summit Electric Supply, a proud member of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Service Center operations, including Customer Service Representatives, Counter Sales, and Administrative staff. The role focuses on aligning resources with sales growth while maintaining Summit service standards and cost-to-serve targets.

You will partner with the Solution Center, drive continuous improvement through Lean and 5S, and manage budgeting, staffing, and performance metrics to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in inside sales, operations, or a similar role.
• Experience leading in a matrix organization with ability to motivate teams.
• Ability to make timely strategic decisions based on metrics and data.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Service Center Operations and align resources to support sales growth.
• Lead training, coaching, and accountability for associate performance.
• Oversee budgeting, headcount, assets, and vendor contracts; manage cost-to-serve.
• Drive Lean and 5S process improvements to raise efficiency and value for customers.
