Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring an Onsite Support Specialist - People Manager to lead the customer-site team and manage daily operations with a focus on safety, inventory accuracy, and service delivery. The role reports to the Service Center Manager or Regional Operations Manager and balances leadership with hands-on operational duties.

You will own staffing, training, performance management, and workflow execution, collaborating with sales, warehouse, and supply

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, operations, onsite services, or distribution environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading people, including scheduling, performance management, coaching, and corrective action.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage complex customer relationships.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and supervision to all staff at the customer site.
• Train, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, and daily direction of onsite staff.
• Conduct performance feedback, disciplinary action, and corrective coaching with HR/Operations leadership.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety requirements, attendance standards, and operating procedures.
• Foster accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as primary escalation point for employee issues and customer concerns.
