Job summary

Summit Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, seeks a Service Center Manager to lead market growth, team performance, and profitability in the assigned geographic area. You will shape strategy, coach staff, and drive sales against budgets while coordinating with senior leaders and vendors.

The role requires deep leadership, financial acumen, and a track record of growing market share, improving margins, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years selling to industrial contractors
• Minimum 5 years in distribution/manufacturing of electrical products
• Minimum 5 years in leadership positions, managing supervisors/managers
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
• Proven ability to recruit and develop talent
• Ability to present to key decision makers and drive win-win outcomes

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to instill Summit mission and values
• Create a strategic roadmap to become the #1 distributor in the market
• Develop a best-place-to-work environment through coaching and succession planning
• Drive active customers and SKUs via outbound calling and account penetration
• Leverage Summit's sales tools, resources, and services as competitive advantages
• Provide sales forecasts and dashboards to leadership and monitor pipeline against targets
