Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based Clinical Account Executive to lead a multi-state oncology territory, including California and Hawaii. Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the CAE will combine deep clinical expertise, strategic account planning, and business acumen to improve patient outcomes and support brand objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
• Desire and ability to take on larger roles faster than peers.
• Competitive selling skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Background checks/drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned with brand strategy.
• Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
• Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
• Continuously evaluate territory performance using data and insights to optimize execution.
• Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction.
