Job summary

New Relic, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to guide customers through observability transformations, collaborating with sales, engineering and product teams to design and deliver strategic solutions that connect technical outcomes with business value.

You will lead blueprint engagements, document current and desired states, travel to clients as needed, and build artifacts like reference architectures and technical content.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience developing in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Golang.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry standards and OSS like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with observability platforms (New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, etc.).
• Understanding of Incident Management and SLI/SLO measures.
• Experience with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering service delivery.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless.
• Strong presentation and communication skills at technical and executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead blueprint engagements with sales and technical success teams to meet observability goals.
• Document current and desired observability states and design gap-closing solutions.
• Engage with customers on-site and remotely to accelerate transformation and maturity.
• Create artifacts such as reference architectures, technical blogs, and conference content.
• Invest in continuous learning and mentoring to improve team skills.
