Job summary

New Relic, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive observability transformations for customers across segments. You will lead engagements, document current and target states, and design solutions that bridge gaps in observability while aligning with business goals.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing to deliver strategic outcomes. The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, thought leadership, and client advisory across remote or on-site

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of professional experience in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Golang).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry standards and OSS like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic, Splunk, AppDynamics, DataDog, Dynatrace, Grafana Labs, or similar.
• Understanding of Incident Management and SLI/SLO measurement approaches.
• Experience with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering service delivery.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies - Kubernetes, Docker, serverless.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements to guide customer needs.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of customer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead blueprint engagements with sales and success teams to guide customers on achieving observability goals with the New Relic platform.
• Document current and target states of observability and design solutions to close gaps.
• Engage with customers on-site and remotely to accelerate transformation and observability maturity.
• Develop artifacts like reference architectures, technical blogs, and conference content to build brand trust.
• Pursue continuous personal and team learning through training, reading, and mentorship.
